Your design
Send your logo in any format. We digitize it for embroidery free and email a mockup before we stitch.
Decoration style
Puff works best with blocky letters and simple, bold shapes. It is not a fit for small text, thin lines, or fine detail, since the foam rounds those out. Not sure if your logo works? Leave it on flat and mention puff in the notes, and we will tell you honestly.
3D puff is front only. Any side or back embroidery will be stitched flat.
Placement
Left and right are based on looking at the hat from the front, not the wearer's perspective.
Front logo position
Front is included. Each additional location is $7 per hat. Both sides are $14 per hat. 3D puff applies to the front logo only, so sides and back are always stitched flat.

One file per location: PNG, JPG, PDF, AI, or SVG, up to 10 MB each. Digitizing is free. No file handy? Skip it and email us after.
Very detailed logo?
Fine lines, small text and intricate artwork lose detail in thread. A laser engraved leather patch holds detail far better and gives a premium look.

If yours needs to be professionally recreated into a production-ready file, we'll let you know and quote any recreation fee before anything is made. Standard digitizing is still free.
Why AI art can be tricky to stitch
- Shading and gradients. Thread is a solid color, so soft blends and glows can't be reproduced and come out as stripes or blotches.
- Too much detail. Tiny textures, thin lines and busy backgrounds disappear at hat size.
- Messy lettering. AI tools often warp letters or invent words. Small text needs to be clean and at least about 1/4 inch tall to read in thread.
- Fuzzy edges. Most AI images are low resolution with blurry edges, so the shapes have to be redrawn before digitizing.
Tips for an embroidery-friendly AI design
- Ask for a flat, simple logo with 2 to 4 solid colors, bold shapes and thick outlines.
- Say no gradients, no shadows, no 3D effects, on a plain or transparent background.
- Keep any text short and blocky, or add it in the notes and we'll set it in a clean font.
Send it either way. After review, we'll tell you if it needs recreating and quote any fee, then show you exactly how it will stitch in your free mockup before anything is made. Make sure you have the rights to use the design.
Thread colors: Unless you tell us otherwise, we match thread colors to your logo. Want something different, like tone-on-tone or matched to the hat? Just mention it in the notes.
How should we send your proof? *
We'll send your mockup within one business day. Nothing gets stitched until you approve it.
Current lead time: 2-4 weeks after you approve your proof. Need them sooner? Email us before you order and we'll see what we can do.
